“As I am a fan of Marisa White’s cartoonish style, I had her do a pet portrait of my daughter’s labradoodle, Maple. I love her use of bright colors and whimsy and did not want an exact portrait but instead something more whimsical. Even though the portrait is done more cartoonish, it came out very detailed and looks just like him. Marisa shared her progress each step of the way and was more than accommodating with my suggested edits. As my daughter moved to Florida, the vibrant colors she used mimic her current surroundings of palm trees and bright flowers. This was a perfect housewarming gift and she will treasure it forever. She actually cried when I gave it to her. Thx so much Marisa. The world needs more of you in it! I’m sure you will have a great career in art!”
